About me

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), my journey began in the social services sector, where I spent many years supporting autistic folks, individuals with intellectual disabilities, and dual diagnoses, and their families. This experience revealed to me the profound gaps in our mental health system, motivating me to pursue a Master's in Psychotherapy and Counselling at Saint Paul's University. This educational journey not only deepened my clinical expertise but also enriched my understanding of how culture profoundly shapes our mental health and well-being.

Having personally experienced the transformative power of therapy during my own mental health journey, I am deeply committed to offering compassionate talk therapy services tailored to the unique needs of children, teens, and adults. My approach is deeply influenced by my cultural background, which emphasizes the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. I believe in the importance of honoring cultural diversity and integrating cultural perspectives into therapy, recognizing the richness they bring to each person's healing journey.

Through empathetic listening, evidence-based techniques, and collaborative exploration, I create a warm and supportive therapeutic environment. I value human interactions as opportunities for growth and healing, viewing each session as a partnership where we work together to uncover strengths and navigate challenges. My therapeutic practice focuses on fostering self-awareness, self-compassion, and resilience, empowering clients to embrace personal growth with courage and clarity.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or other concerns, I am here to walk alongside you every step of the way. Together, we will tap into your innate strengths to foster holistic healing and change.

I focus on supporting individuals as they navigate relationship and attachment wounds, always honoring the wisdom they bring to their own journey. Together, we explore how culture and identity shape your experiences, helping you build more connected, authentic relationships.

Specializations Include

A hand holding a slice of watermelon with a small smiley face drawn on it, over a body of water with boats in the background.

When I’m not busy supporting clients, you’ll probably find me lost in the great outdoors—whether it’s hiking, kayaking, or dragging my puppers Loki on some questionable wilderness adventure. I’m also a bookworm on a mission (50 books by year’s end—wish me luck!), or smashing tennis balls with friends—because who doesn’t love a good sweat and a little friendly competition?

Outside the therapy room

A woman with a backpack smiling at the camera on a rocky ledge overlooking a vast green forest and a river on a sunny day.
A black and white Boston Terrier dog sitting amidst green grass and foliage, panting with its tongue out and smiling, wearing a black harness with a tag.
A grassy shoreline with rocks, overlooking a calm ocean under a partly cloudy blue sky.
